Agnes Lartey was born in the United Kingdom to Nigerian immigrant parents. With her love for both science and design, she wanted to pursue a career in Architecture. After discovering that there were numerous jobless Architects in the early 1990’s, thanks to a global recession, Agnes decided to go in a different direction. She studied Biology at the University of Greenwich, London instead and began a career in the pharmaceutical industry. There she worked in a number of specialty therapy areas including Cardiovascular Medicine, Gastroenterology and Oncology.
Agnes transferred her pharmaceutical career to the U.S. in 2002 and has lived in Georgia with her husband and two children for over 20 years.
Agnes left Big Pharma and Corporate America in 2005 to focus on raising her children. She was a Stay-at-Home Mother for 11 years, briefly homeschooling and then volunteering in her local community. She served on the Local School Councils and PTAs of her children’s schools, in both Henry County and the North Atlanta Cluster of Atlanta Public Schools.
After a brief return to Corporate America, Agnes decided to revisit her passion for Home Design and combine it with her love for helping others. She obtained her Real Estate License and joined Keller Williams Atlanta Perimeter, drawn by their exceptional mentorship and track record of premier Real Estate services in Atlanta.
Considering her background, it comes as no surprise that Agnes is a health and wellness enthusiast. She enjoys keeping fit with regular workouts at the gym, practicing Yoga, Pilates and taking long brisk walks in nature. She also enjoys singing Soprano in her church choir.
Agnes is here to help with national and international relocations, as well as the needs of local customers and clients.
