A graduate of the University of Miami with a BA in Communications, Karen honed her leadership skills as a Resident Assistant, serving as a trusted liaison for her peers. Her professional journey includes significant roles in Embarkation and Ticketing for NCL Cruise Lines, Admissions at the University of Miami, and a distinguished 20-year tenure with Broward County Schools. There, she excelled as a Substitute Teacher for K-12 and Special Needs students for a decade before transitioning to an Administrative Secretary role, supporting the Principal and six Assistant Principals with remarkable efficiency.Karen's personal life is equally fulfilling. She has been blessed with a 37-year marriage, three children, and seven grandchildren.
